Discover and activate products to connect your Azure resources to Task Ember.
The Marketplace is where you browse available products. Each product connects Task Ember to a specific type of Azure resource (Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, etc.) or provides a custom resource template you shape yourself.
Pre-built by Task Ember with guaranteed compatibility. These connect to standard Azure resource types and include:
Build your own product for any Azure resource or external service. Custom products support:
Pre-built templates like Business Central, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, DevOps, and Dynamics 365. These combine the reliability of certified products with custom configuration flexibility.
When activating, you choose how Task Ember connects to your Azure resources:
| Method | Description |
|---|---|
| Platform (Admin Consent) | Task Ember's managed service principal. Simplest setup - just grant admin consent |
| BYOAR (Bring Your Own App Registration) | Use your own Azure App Registration. You control the credentials and can revoke access at any time |
You can switch between Platform and BYOAR authentication at any time from the Resources page:
Some products are free to use with no monthly cost.
Most paid products offer a 7-day free trial. After the trial expires, the resource is deactivated until you upgrade to a paid plan.
Paid products charge a monthly price per connected resource, billed from your account balance. The cost is shown on the product card and during activation.
Bundles let you save a set of resources that can be quickly applied to workspaces. This is useful when you have a standard set of resources that you deploy for each client.
After activation, resources appear on the Resources page. Resources of any product can be attached to any workspace (attaching one you don't own asks its owner to confirm first), to:
